Chataqua Mangum M.ed.

Chataqua Mangum M.Ed. is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in administrative and teaching roles spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Dean/Assistant Principal at Uplift Education since June 2019, Chataqua previously held positions including Assistant Principal at DeSoto ISD, Middle School Assistant Principal at Nova Academy Charter School, and PK-8 Assistant Principal at Advantage Academy. Early career experiences include serving as an Instructional Coach for Dallas ISD and Teacher at Tatum Elementary, alongside a strong track record in mentoring and supporting teachers. Chataqua holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Texas Woman's University.
