Mengyu (Mona) Zhao, CFS

Mona Zhao has been working in the food industry since 2003. Mengyu (Mona) began their career at Primera Foods as a QA Technologist. In 2007, they moved to General Mills where they were a Product Development specialist. In 2013, they volunteered as a tax preparer for Prepare + Prosper. In 2017, they joined Beachbody as a Product Development Scientist. In 2018, they transitioned to GFF, Inc. as an R&D Manager. Finally, in 2019 they moved to Supergut as a Sr. Manager R&D.

Mengyu (Mona) Zhao, CFS, obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Food Science and Engineering from the Ocean University of China between 1995 and 1999. Mengyu (Mona) then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Food and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Stout between 2000 and 2003. Additionally, they are a Certified Food Scientist from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
