Esa Rantanen

Esa Rantanen has over 20 years of experience in IT management and project management roles. Esa started their career as a CEO at ESA International Pty Ltd, where they worked for four years. Esa then joined Nufarm as a Global Systems Manager and IT Manager for four years. After that, they worked as a Project Manager at Nokia Venture Organization (NVO) for one year. Following their time at NVO, they served as Vice President of Services at Meridea Financial Software for five years. Esa then worked as a Project Director at Endero Oy for two years before joining Nokia as a Global Product Manager for four years. Most recently, Esa worked as the Head of IT Projects at UPM, where they managed various IT projects and was also responsible for the functionality and quality of global IT services.

Esa Rantanen obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Joensuu / University of Applied Science (KoToL). Esa also holds various certifications including Certified ICT Management Professional (CIMP) and Certified IT Standard Professional (CISP) obtained in 2015, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) obtained in 2012, and various ITIL certifications obtained between 2008 and 2012.
