Laura Cummings

Laura Cummings, P.E., J.D. is currently serving as Legal and Compliance Counsel for North America at UPM - The Biofore Company since June 2023. Prior to this role, Laura amassed extensive experience over 15 years at UPM Raflatac, Inc., where positions included Director of Health, Safety & Environment, Business Process Development Manager, and Safety, Health & Environmental Manager for the Americas. Additional experience includes serving as Environmental Policy and Compliance Manager at US GreenFiber LLC from 2006 to 2008, and as Environmental Policy Administrator for Mecklenburg County Government from 2001 to 2005. Laura Cummings holds a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Master of Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
