Päivi Vistala-Palonen

Päivi Vistala-Palonen has over three decades of experience in communications, primarily within UPM and its subsidiaries. Currently serving as Manager of Responsibility Communications at UPM since February 2015, Päivi is responsible for promoting the UPM Biofore vision and strategy. Prior roles include Manager of Communications Flow & Environment and Communications Manager for IT and Finance & Control, showcasing a diverse skill set in external communications and change management. Beginning as a Training Planner at the Finnish Paper Mills Association in 1986, Päivi progressed through various roles involving executive assistance, project management, and communications before advancing to managerial positions in communication strategies at UPM. Educational background includes a degree from Helsinki Secretarial College.
