Piia-Noora Kauppi

Piia-Noora Kauppi is a Finnish politician who has served in a number of different roles over their career. Kauppi began their career in 1992 with the National Coalition Party. Piia-Noora then became a Member of the European Parliament in 1999 and served in that role until 2008. During their time as an MEP, Kauppi was also a member of the Finnish delegation in the EPP-ED Group and was responsible for a number of legislative dossiers. In 2008, Kauppi left the European Parliament to become a member of the board for VTS Fund. Piia-Noora has also served on the board of UPM, The Biofore Company, and Sulava Oy.

Piia-Noora Kauppi has a Master of Laws from University of Helsinki and also studied Foundations for Leadership in the 21st Century at Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University. In 2009 and 2014, they studied Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century at Harvard Kennedy School.
