Riitta Savonlahti has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Riitta worked as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at UPM, where they played a crucial role in the company's transformation. Riitta also served as the Chairman of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors in Scandic Hotels Group. Additionally, they were a Member of the Board at Posti Group Oyj and the Management Institute of Finland MIF. Earlier in their career, they held senior HR positions at Elcoteq Network Corporation and Raisio Group. At Nokia Mobile Phones, they served as the HR Manager for Salo Operations, where they successfully led the company's HR department during a period of significant growth.
Riitta Savonlahti holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Vaasa, which they completed in 1990. Riitta also completed various programs, such as the Booster Program for Top Management at UPM in 2006, the Goal Program for the Executive Team at Elcoteq in 2003, the Manager's Program at Nokia in 1995, and the Young Professional Program at ABB in 1991.
