Seppo Uusi-Rauva

Seppo Uusi-Rauva possesses extensive experience in the paper and forestry industries, currently serving as Director of Capex/Technology Sourcing at UPM - The Biofore Company since June 2016, after holding various roles including Senior Manager of Investment Sourcing and Project Manager, responsible for implementing security projects across multiple mills in Finland. Previously, at UPM Specialty Papers, Seppo functioned as Project Engineer and Project Purchasing Manager, overseeing the PM3 chemical systems and managing purchases for a large capital expenditure project. Earlier roles at UPM included Sourcing Manager for investment projects, Operations Manager for a release paper line, and Process Development Engineer at Shotton paper mill in the UK. Seppo holds a Master’s degree in Paper Technology and Industrial Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and multiple qualifications in forestry management and purchasing.
