Carmen Gerardi

Carmen Gerardi is a seasoned IT security professional with extensive experience at UPMC since May 2014, currently serving as the Manager of the Security Operations Center. Carmen has progressed through various roles, from Information Security Analyst-Associate to Senior Security Operations Center Analyst, where responsibilities include managing firewall security policies, monitoring over 100,000 endpoints, and leading threat intelligence and enterprise brand monitoring programs. Carmen also contributes to forensic investigations, cloud security monitoring, and the onboarding of acquisitions while leading training for new analysts. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Forensics and Information Security from Robert Morris University, completed in 2014.
