David Levinthal

David Levinthal is a highly experienced medical professional, currently serving as the Director at UPMC since June 2016 and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine since July 2012. Prior to these roles, David held the position of Gastroenterology Fellow at UPMC from July 2009 to June 2012 and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from July 2008 to June 2009 under the mentorship of Dr. Peter L. David completed residency training at the University of Michigan Health System from July 2006 to June 2008. Academic qualifications include an MD and PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (1998-2006) and a BS in Nutrition Sciences from Cornell University (1994-1998).
