Michelle Ikoma

Michelle Ikoma is a dedicated medical professional currently serving as a Faculty Development Fellow at UPMC since August 2025, following a comprehensive family medicine residency at UPMC from May 2022 to June 2025. With extensive experience in critical care and emergency response, Michelle's medical training is complemented by a Doctor of Medicine degree from UNC School of Medicine (2017-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School (2009-2014). Prior roles include serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Piedmont Health Services and a data analysis intern in the Undergraduate Business Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler, showcasing strong analytical and collaborative skills. Additionally, Michelle was a member of the NCAA Division I varsity gymnastics team, earning a full athletic scholarship during the academic journey.
