Zachary Lenhart is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as Vice President of Operations at UPMC since February 2017. Lenhart oversees the operations of two hospitals and three campuses, managing 160 inpatient beds and 300 physicians, while facilitating nearly 250,000 outpatient visits annually. Previously, Lenhart held several leadership roles within UPMC, including Senior Director of Clinical Operations in the Department of Medicine, where innovative telemedicine strategies were successfully implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lenhart's prior experience includes administrative positions at UW Health and UPMC, as well as an academic role as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Lenhart holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Business from the same institution.
