Edward Wyrwas

Edward Wyrwas has a diverse work experience with a range of roles in various companies. In 2007, they started as a Member of Technical Staff - Electrical Engineer at DfR Solutions, where they worked with electronic components. Over time, they took on multiple roles within the company, including Information Technology Manager, Chief Information Officer, and Information Systems Security Manager. Edward also co-owned Lock Box, LLC, where they developed a portable storage device. Additionally, Wyrwas founded Prepared for Flight in 2013 and served as the Chief Executive Officer, providing a platform for idea development. In 2016, they joined NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a Lead Electrical Engineer, offering engineering services to the Radiation Effects and Analysis Group. Wyrwas also served as the Director of Analytics and Consultant at Upped Events Inc. in 2020 and participated in the Defense Innovation Accelerator program at NSIN - National Security Innovation Network in 2021. Most recently, they have been a Senior Advisor at Kupros Inc, working on 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Edward has also been involved with Reinforced Filament, LLC as the Chief Operating Officer, leading the development of 3D printing materials. Additionally, Wyrwas has contributed to the maker community as a Founding Sponsoring Member of Nation of Makers.

Edward Wyrwas completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mathematics from Widener University. Edward attended Widener University from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Archbishop Spalding High School from 1999 to 2003.
