Mps Megan Kelly Spurgeon

Megan Kelly Spurgeon, MPS has a diverse work experience across various organizations and roles. Megan started their career as a Student Worker at Tennessee Technological University's Financial Aid department, where they gained experience in clerical work and customer service. Megan then transitioned to an internship role at The Enrichment Zone, where they served as a liaison and helped establish a non-profit organization.

After that, Megan worked as a Reservation Specialist at Alpine Mountain Chalets, where they improved organizational systems and handled inquiries regarding rental information. Megan then served as a Graduate Assistant to the President at Tennessee Technological University, assisting in daily operations and managing the contact database.

Moving on, Megan joined the Mid Cumberland Human Resource Agency, initially working as a Youth Career Specialist and later becoming a Regional Manager. In these roles, they focused on workforce development programs, case management, and establishing partnerships with community organizations and companies.

Currently, Megan serves as the Director of Empower Upper Cumberland at Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency. Here, they coordinate collaboration among partners to address community issues and develop a poverty alleviation system in a rural region. Additionally, they oversee a $25 million state grant award.

Throughout their career, Megan has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as a commitment to making a positive impact in their community.

Megan Kelly Spurgeon, MPS has a strong educational background. Megan obtained a Master's of Professional Studies in Strategic Leadership from Tennessee Technological University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the same university, completing their studies from 2010 to 2014. Megan'ssecondary education took place at Pigeon Forge High School, where they earned their diploma between 2007 and 2010.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Megan has also acquired professional certifications. Megan is a Nationally Certified ROMA Trainer, obtaining this certification from RESULTS ORIENTED MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY LIMITED in August 2020. Moreover, they are a Certified Paralegal (CP), which they achieved in November 2015 through Penn Foster.
