Juana Reed

Juana Reed has extensive experience in various roles focused on community support and behavioral health. Currently serving as a Home Base Coach at Upper Des Moines Opportunity since October 2019, Juana previously worked as a Behavioral Health Intervention Specialist at Lutheran Services in Iowa from May 2018 to October 2019. Juana's career began at Buena Vista University, where roles included Community Coordinator and Resident Assistant from August 2015 to May 2018, involving the development of positive living environments and supporting fellow students. Additionally, Juana gained customer service experience as a Barista at Grand Central Coffee Station and provided academic support as an After-School Program Instructional Assistant at Storm Lake Middle School. Juana holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Educational Studies from Buena Vista University, earned in 2018.
