Islam Yahia

Islam Yahia has extensive work experience in the food industry. islam is currently the Director of Operations at Upper Egypt For Food Industries (UEFFI), a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the manufacturing and development manager at Elhaty express for poultry and frozen food from October 2017 to May 2022. From May 2014 to January 2017, they served as the Deputy factories General Manager for Production and Development at Galina. Before that, they worked as the Production Manager at British Egyptian Co. for general development(Galina Agro- freeze) from March 2010 to May 2014, and as the Deputy Production Manager at British Egyptian Co. for general development from June 2008 to February 2010. islam started their career as a Production Engineer at Galina Agro- freeze from October 2006 to May 2008. Throughout their various roles, they have been responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring quality standards, managing teams, and implementing company policies and goals.

Islam Yahia attended Alexandria University from 2000 to 2003, where they graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science, specializing in the Department of Agricultural Food Production. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they attended Mubarak Topper School in Alexandria for their secondary education.

In addition to their formal education, Islam Yahia obtained various certifications. In 2008, they received internal audit training from ENCPC (Egypt National Cleaner Production Center) in ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS18001:2007, and BRC 6e:2011. islam also obtained certifications in ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, BRC, and OHSAS 18001:2007 from ENCPC. Furthermore, they participated in the UNIDO MED TEST PROJECT, demonstrating their commitment to improving resource efficiency, environmental management, and manufacturing performance in the south Mediterranean region.
