David Tripp, P.E.

David Tripp, P.E. has a strong work experience in the engineering field. David started their career as a Jr Field Engineer at Schlumberger in 2004. In 2004-2005, they worked as a Design Engineer at Tekna, Inc. Tripp then joined Cliffs Natural Resources as a Sr. Engineer in 2005 and worked there until 2014. During this time, they gained valuable experience in project management. In 2014-2015, Tripp worked at Krech Ojard & Assoc., Engineers and Architects as an Integrated Project Manager and later as a Sr. Project Manager, Integrated Services. Currently, Tripp is the Chief Dam Safety and Generation Project Manager at Upper Peninsula Power Company.

David Tripp, P.E. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Texas Permian Basin. David pursued this degree from 2018 to 2019. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, which took place between 1998 and 2003.
