Bill Hamersly

Bill Hamersly is an experienced program coordinator currently working at Upper West Strategies since April 2023. Previously, Bill served as a site director at Saga Education, where Bill successfully launched a hybrid team of Algebra tutors, achieving an 80%+ passing rate. At The New York Foundling, Bill managed the Brooklyn launch of a citywide tutoring program for students in foster care and previously worked as a tutor to support academic growth for various students. Bill's early career included roles at City Year as both a team leader and corps member, focusing on academic and socio-emotional interventions. Bill holds two Bachelor's degrees in French Studies and English: Creative Writing from Franklin & Marshall College, earned in 2016.
