Uppsala Monitoring Centre
Sara Hedfors Vidlin is a Data Scientist at Uppsala Monitoring Centre since May 2015, focusing on programming, software prototyping, data extraction, and algorithm development for pharmacovigilance signal detection. Previously, Sara served as R&D Manager at POLTECH Information System AB from June 2007 to May 2015, overseeing software and system development, product redesign, and new product initiatives, in addition to engaging in sales and customer support. Sara's early roles also included work in software development, a webmaster position, and a master's thesis at CrossControl, along with grading exams at Uppsala University's Department of Engineering Sciences. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University and has further education from The University of Western Australia and Europaskolan.

Uppsala Monitoring Centre is an independent, non-profit foundation and a centre for international service and scientific research in the field of pharmacovigilance.
