Sigyn Halverstedt

Sigyn Halverstedt is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child and Family Protection Division of the Arizona Attorney General's Office since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sigyn operated a law office from January 2020 to May 2023, providing legal support and representation primarily in bankruptcy law and other federal litigation matters. Sigyn's career also includes positions as an attorney for Cochise County, a partner at UpRight Law, and staff attorney roles at Southern Arizona Legal Aid Inc., where services were focused on low-income clients facing a range of legal issues. Earlier experience includes managing a law firm, serving as a legal advisor in small claims court, and supervising compliance in a stock brokerage firm. Sigyn holds a JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a BA in History from Concordia University.
