Charles Dean Smith

Charles Dean Smith, Jr. serves as the Tax Service Line Leader for Coastal North Carolina at PBMares, LLP since December 2020, focusing on corporate and individual tax services for small business retailers and managing relationships with over 400 franchise owners nationwide. Additionally, Charles is a co-owner of Three G and C, LLC Group, which operates three UPS Store franchises in South Carolina and North Carolina since October 2010. As the Vice Chair of Financial Performance on the Board of Trustees for the Greater Carolinas Chapter of the National MS Society, Charles supports nearly 18,000 clients with MS in the region. Charles previously held the position of Senior Tax Director at RSM US LLP from January 1997 to December 2020 and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
