Rob Oswald has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving on the Government Affairs Committee of the Independent Pilots Association since January 2025, focusing on aviation safety issues and engaging with industry stakeholders. As a Captain for United Parcel Service since January 2005, Rob pilots complex aircraft for national and international parcel delivery. Rob has also owned Pilot Career Consulting Group, LLC from March 2015 to January 2023. Previous roles include serving as an Admissions Liaison Officer for the USAF Academy from October 2005 to January 2021, and as a retired C-130J, C-17, and C-141B pilot and loadmaster with the Rhode Island Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves from May 1991 to June 2015. Additionally, Rob worked as a US Air Forces Central Liaison Officer, where responsibilities included managing air operations for CENTCOM. Early aviation career highlights include positions as a First Officer with American Airlines and Northwest Airlines. Rob holds a BA in Mathematics from Salve Regina University.
