Gareth Edward Williams

Gareth Edward Williams has a long and varied work experience. Gareth Edward began their career in 2008 as a Desktop Systems Support at Aberystwyth University, where they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting software on all of the University desktop PCs and laptops. During this time, they also gained experience of working in a team on various projects, as well as working on their own and planning their time effectively. In 2010, they joined Avox Limited as a Data Analyst, where they used analytical skills on a daily basis and improved their flexibility by switching projects at a moments notice. Gareth Edward then moved up to Deputy Team Manager and then Team Manager, where they successfully led a team of ten analysts to achieve all year-to-date targets set for 2013. In 2015, they joined ThoughtWorks as a Consultant Software Developer. Finally, in 2021, they joined KrakenFlex as a Senior Software Engineer.

Gareth Edward Williams attended Aberystwyth University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science. Gareth Edward then returned to Aberystwyth University from 2013 to 2014 and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science (Software Engineering). In 2013, they also obtained an ILM Level 3 Leadership & Management certification from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and an NVQ Level 3 Management certification from Yale College.
