Ilhan Seven

Ilhan Seven has over 10 years of work experience in the energy industry. In 2010, they began their career at PARS MAKINA LTD. as an R&D Engineer. In 2011 they joined EMEK ELEKTRIK ENDUSTRISI A.S. as an Electrical & Electronics Engineer, where they designed equipment with high voltage levels such as 154 and 380 kVs. In 2013, Ilhan Seven co-founded Hidrotürbin Teknoloji Enerji San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. where they developed a prototype Arvida, a hydroelectric power generation system which uses Archimede’s Screw as a turbine. Ilhan also designed and calculated electromechanical drivetrains including turbine, gearbox, couplings, and generator. In 2015, Ilhan Seven founded EGAS Teknoloji Limited, which focuses on modern IoT based automation systems for micro scale power plants. In 2017, Ilhan Seven joined KrakenFlex (formerly Upside Energy) as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer. At KrakenFlex, they helped to create a smart platform that any type of energy generating, consuming or storage asset can be integrated into.

Ilhan Seven obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 2005 and 2010. In 2021, they obtained a BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition certification from City & Guilds. In 2019, they became a Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). In 2016, they obtained an Expert Consultant and Engineer Certificate in Grounding of Electrical Networks from TMMOB Elektrik Mühendisleri Odası / Chamber of Electrical Engineers of Turkey. In 2014, they obtained an Expert Consultant and Engineer Sertificate from the same institution. In 2012, they obtained an Expertise in Occupational Safety (C) certification from T.C. Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı - Turkish Labour and Social Security Ministry.
