R&d Food Lab Lead at UPSIDE Foods

Clara Lang has a diverse work experience in the food science industry. Clara started their career as a Teaching Assistant and later worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Clara then interned at Clif Bar & Company as a Product Optimization Intern. Following that, they served as the Food Science Club President and a Sensory Technician at the same university. Clara then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where they conducted research on polymer principles and mentored undergraduate students. After that, they joined Kinder's Premium Quality Seasonings & Sauces as a Food Technologist, where they commercialized new products and solved product issues. Currently, Clara is working at UPSIDE Foods as an R&D Food Lab Lead.

Clara Lang completed a Master's degree in Food Science from Oregon State University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Food Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2015 and 2019.
