Elissa Kozlov began their career in 2010 as a PhD and Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2009 they were a Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medical College, where they were the senior research assistant on several studies investigating depression in home bound older adults. In 2015 they were a Clinical Geropsychology Intern at the Palo Alto VA Hospital. From 2016 to 2019 they were an Instructor and Post Doctoral Associate in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care at Weill Cornell Medicine. From 2019 to 2021 they were an Instructor in the School of Public Health at Rutgers University and Core Faculty at the Institute for Health, Health Policy and Aging Research. Currently they are the Chief Scientific Officer at Upside and Director of the Population Aging Concentration at Rutgers School of Public Health.
Elissa Kozlov attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2010 to 2016 where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology. Elissa also attended Wesleyan University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Theater, as well as a Bachelor's in Psychology.
