Ted Breyer

Ted Breyer is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and investment. As a Partner at Breyer Capital since 2016, Ted has been involved in successful investments in notable companies such as Facebook, Etsy, and Spotify. In 2022, Ted co-founded Atoka, a firm dedicated to helping individuals and businesses recover lost cryptocurrency through advanced technology. Additionally, as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Breyer Labs, Ted oversees a seed-stage fund focused on cryptocurrency and frontier markets. Ted also serves as a Funder and Advisor for Upsolve, a nonprofit aiming to enhance access to legal and financial systems. Previously, Ted worked as a Scout for Sequoia Capital from 2020 to 2024, engaging in angel and seed investments. Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and East Asian Studies from Harvard University and a Master's Degree in Global Affairs and Business from Tsinghua University.
