Serena Desai

Serena Desai is in her first year at New York University’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in the MPA-PNP program. Previously, Serena worked as a Councilmember in San Jose, California where she specialized in Housing, Economic Development, and Environmental policy. Out of her passion for sustainability, Serena contributed to legislation on a Straws Upon Request Ordinance for the City of San Jose. Serena studied Marine Biology at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
