Hamzeh Khalfa

Fuel Cells/chemical Engineer at Upstart Power, Inc.

Hamzeh Khalfa has a diverse work experience in the field of energy and engineering. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Service-Learning Specialist at Eastern Florida State College, providing math tutoring and achieving successful results for over 150 students. In 2022, Khalfa worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida, focusing on the design and synthesis of redox-active colloids and the development of next-generation materials for redox-flow batteries.

Most recently, Khalfa joined Upstart Power, Inc. in 2023 as a Fuel Cells/Test Engineer, where they likely continues to contribute their expertise to the field of energy technology.

Hamzeh Khalfa attended the University of Florida from 2020 to 2022, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
