Tom Downey has diverse work experience in various roles and industries.
Starting in 2006, they worked as a Technical Support Analyst at NewWave Software, providing hardware and software solutions for Windows environments. Tom also assisted clients with hardware/software issues and supported the development and testing of software upgrades.
In 2009, Tom joined Trapeze Group as a Software Application Analyst, where they identified and resolved hardware/software problems in Windows and Linux environments. Tom installed and configured Trapeze custom software applications for mass transit corporations and collaborated with product managers, directors, and clients to contribute to product development.
Tom joined UNIVERIS in 2016 as a SaaS Implementation Engineer. Tom supported existing and new FLEX clients, using Agile and Kanban methodologies to onboard new clients and manage active projects. Tom also worked on installing professional service improvements/contracts, patches, updates, and releases to ensure smooth project delivery.
In 2018, Tom became a Project Manager at Benevity, where they managed projects and ensured their successful completion.
Currently, they hold the position of Project Manager at Upstream Works Software, where they continue to excel in overseeing projects and utilizing their technical and business analysis skills.
Tom Downey has an education history that includes attending Humber College from 2013 to 2019, where they obtained a Project Management Certificate in the field of Project Management (PMP). Prior to that, they attended Seneca College from 2001 to 2004, earning an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming and Analysis.
