Tom Agresta

Thomas Agresta serves as the Department Chair of Family Medicine at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine since August 2023. With a distinguished career at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine spanning from August 1995, Thomas Agresta holds positions as a Professor and Director of Medical Informatics, Co-Director of Health Informatics within the Biomedical Informatics Division, and Director of Predoctoral Education, overseeing medical student education and promoting the use of technology in patient-centered care. Additionally, Thomas Agresta co-founded and serves as CEO of FlexHealthInfo, is the Director of Clinical Informatics at the Center for Quantitative Medicine, and previously led the informatics section at the Connecticut Institute for Primary Care Innovation. Educational credentials include an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, an MBI from Oregon Health & Science University, and a BE in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
