Brian Fairweather has an extensive work history spanning across various industries. Brian started their career in 2000 as a Naval Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy, where they led an intelligence unit monitoring and analyzing criminal activity and terrorist threats in the Arabian Gulf. From 2002 to 2004, Brian worked as a Behavioral Analyst in the Investor Services Group at Business Intelligence Advisors, Inc.
In 2007, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Associate in the Commercial Energy Practice and Corporate Consulting Group. In this role, Brian analyzed international acquisition opportunities, authored IT security market studies, and developed strategic roadmaps for the Chief Technology Officer. Brian remained with Booz Allen Hamilton until 2010.
From 2010 to 2020, Brian worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent. Brian held positions in the Intelligence Branch and focused on complex financial crimes. During their time at the FBI, Brian gained experience in investigations and intelligence gathering.
In 2020, Brian joined Uptake, initially serving as Chief of Staff. Brian held multiple roles as a connector and cross-functional operator among Uptake leadership. Brian was then promoted to Vice President, Public Sector, in 2022. In this role, Brian is responsible for strategy and execution in supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and civilian Federal agencies.

Brian Fairweather obtained a B.S. degree in English from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth between 2005 and 2007. In March 2022, Brian also obtained The Chief of Staff Association Micro-Credentials from The Chief of Staff Association.
