Co-founder, Director & Executive Vice President, Capital Markets at Uptempo

Jason Ewart has an extensive work experience in various financial and technology companies. Since 2018, they have been the Co-founder, Director, and Executive Vice President of Capital Markets at Hank Payments, a financial technology company that automates personal cash flow management. Jason also co-founded Uptempo, a North American financial and technology company, in 2018, where they serve as the Co-founder, Director, and Executive Vice President of Capital Markets. Additionally, since 2017, they have been a Director at Brane Digital Asset Custody, a Canadian cryptocurrency custody service provider.

Prior to these roles, Jason Ewart held directorial positions at Real Time Risk Solutions, Marathon Mortgage Corp., Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., HEXO Corp., Bucephalus Capital Corp., and Fountain Asset Corp. Jason served as the Vice Chair at Northumberland CFDC, a financing and strategy organization supporting entrepreneurs. Notably, they co-founded Fountain Asset Corp. in 2003 and served as its former Director and CEO until 2017.

Jason Ewart attended McGill University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
