Jonathan Franconi

Jonathan Franconi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jonathan is currently the CEO & Head of Product at Uptime.com since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Product Officer at Uptime.com starting from November 2022.

Before joining Uptime.com, Franconi worked at VMware where they held various roles. Jonathan served as the Director of Engineering - Core Reliability Engineering from July 2022 to November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior SRE Manager Cloud Services from June 2019 to July 2022, and SRE Manager Cloud Services from July 2017 to July 2019. Additionally, Franconi held various other roles at VMware including Staff 1 Site Reliability Engineer, Product Owner - Common SaaS Operations Platform, R&D Manager - vRealize Operations, Staff Architect, Product Owner - vRealize Operations, Integration Architect, and Professional Services Technical Consultant from November 2011 to January 2017.

Before VMware, Franconi worked at a Private Insurance Company as a Network Administrator from July 2008 to November 2011, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining the network infrastructure and managing the virtual environment.

Prior to that, they served as a Network Administrator at a Large Law Firm from July 2006 to July 2008. In this role, they were responsible for network administration, hardware upgrades, and managing the LAN and WAN, among other responsibilities.

Jonathan Franconi obtained their degree in Network Information Technologies from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Jonathan also holds certifications such as VMware vExpert, received in 2011 and 2012, and VMware Certified Professional 5, obtained from VMware.
