Johnny Bowman

Johnny Bowman is responsible for streamlining Upward Farms' Operations to meet its innovation and growth targets, covering Horticulture, Aquaculture, Facilities, and Quality Assurance.

Outside of Upward Farms, Johnny has helped popularize the "Blue New Deal," a series of comprehensive fishing, ocean farming, and sustainability reforms alongside noted marine biologist Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and regenerative ocean farmer Bren Smith. Prior to Upward Farms, Johnny was CEO and Co-founder of Public Stand, a digital advocacy platform.

Johnny received his AB in Sociology from Harvard University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
