Stacey serves as the Chief Clinical Operations Officer, responsible for the direct development and deployment of clinical programs and services provided through a diversified, multi-disciplinary care team. Stacey brings 20+ years of healthcare experience across multiple facets of healthcare operations and solution delivery with a passion to make a positive difference in the healthcare quality and experience for patients and those honored to care for them.

Prior to joining Upward Health, Stacey served as the Chief Operating Officer for Optum Infusion Services, a $2B company where she provided leadership over pharmacy operations delivering home infusion and specialty pharmacy services. As a senior leader at one of the nation’s fastest growing infusion organizations, Stacey led the design and deployment of the end-to-end operating model, the ongoing development of clinical care strategies and solutions and performance improvement and oversaw a staff of 3,000. Prior to joining Optum, Stacey worked at Healthways, a provider of health and well-being solutions deployed to optimize individuals to live their healthiest life. Throughout her nearly 20-year tenure at Healthways, Stacey held several leadership positions across various business verticals, leading partnerships with hospitals and health systems, payors, employers and government programs.

Stacey holds a B.S. in Nursing from Washburn University and a M.B.A. with a focus in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. She also completed an Executive Development Program through the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
