Amy Hwang, CPA, MAcc

Amy Hwang, CPA, MAcc has over 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Amy began their career in 2004 as an INROADS Intern for Marketing, Equipment Finance, and Healthcare Finance at CIT. In 2007, they were a Summer Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. In 2008, Amy became an Experienced Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. From 2010 to 2016, they were a Senior Financial Accountant at Hillstone Restaurant Group, where they managed Fixed Assets for both internal and tax purposes, Income Taxes, and Sales & Use Taxes for 14 states. In 2016, Amy joined Upward Projects Restaurant Group | Postino WineCafe | Joyride Taco House | Windsor | Federal Pizza as the Sr Director of Financial Reporting, Tax and Compliance. In 2017, they became the Financial Controller.

Amy Hwang, CPA, MAcc, obtained their High School Diploma from Desert Vista High School. Afterward, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and Pre-Pharmacy from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management. Amy then went on to pursue their Master of Accounting from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. In 2010, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy.
