Marc Sarfati

Marc Sarfati is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and audio processing. Currently serving as CTO of Upway since November 2021, Marc leads operations for a company specializing in refurbished e-bikes across the US and seven European countries. Prior to Upway, Marc co-founded Gekoot, focusing on enhancing podcast indexing with AI, and served as CEO and co-founder of Village AI, where expertise in machine learning empowered various businesses. Marc's career includes significant roles at Spotify as a Research Scientist and as a research intern at Mila and UQAM, contributing to advancements in audio processing and operations research. With a Master's degree in Mathematics, Vision, and Machine Learning from ENS Paris-Saclay, Marc combines a strong educational background with innovative practical experience.
