Abhishek Srivastava

Abhishek Srivastava has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Abhishek started their career as an Intern Rotating Equipment Engineer at Shell in 2013, where they worked on creating MATLAB Simulink models to simulate a magnetic bearing's response and developed a VBA based tool for compressor impeller design validation. Abhishek'sperformance during the internship earned him a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from Shell. Abhishek then joined Shell as a Rotating Equipment Engineer in 2014, where they worked until 2021. In this role, they utilized their engineering expertise to ensure the smooth operation of rotating equipment. In 2022, Abhishek worked as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Google via PRO Unlimited. Lastly, they are currently working at Upwing Energy as a Project Lead System Engineer, starting in 2023.

Abhishek Srivastava holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Abhishek later pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, Abhishek has acquired several certifications including the Shell Advanced Technical Program (SATP) from Shell in February 2020, the Shell Graduate Program (SGP) from Shell in February 2017, the Rotating Equipment Technical Authority III from Shell in March 2020, and the Certified Vibration Analyst - Category II from the Vibration Institute in January 2019.
