Bernard Gindroz, PhD, is a prominent expert in climate change adaptation, energy management, and sustainable development. Currently serving as Chair of ALIGHT GA, Bernard focuses on facilitating a zero-emission aviation paradigm, while also leading efforts for the Swappable Battery Motorcycle Consortium. With extensive experience as Owner of BMGI Consulting, Bernard specializes in institutional consulting for various sectors, including energy, environment, and advanced manufacturing. Bernard holds leadership positions in multiple organizations, including as Chairman of ISO TC 268 for sustainable cities and communities and Vice Chairman of CEN/CENELEC SFEM. In addition, Bernard contributes to the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance and the URBACT network, promoting resilience and innovation in urban planning and energy transition. Bernard earned a PhD in Technical Sciences from EPFL, specializing in Energy and Fluids Engineering.
