Brian Strydom is a skilled architectural professional with extensive experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital practice management. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Urbahn Architects since May 2024, Brian previously held the role of Digital Practice Manager at FXCollaborative, where responsibilities included providing strategic leadership on BIM projects, managing an office-wide BIM support team, and collaborating closely with project teams and firm leadership. Brian's career spans various roles, including BIM Manager and Designer across multiple firms, and includes significant contributions to post-disaster recovery efforts following Super Storm Sandy. With a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology and an Associate Degree from Nassau Community College, Brian combines technical expertise with a strong foundation in architectural design and client relations.
