Michele Slayton

Michele Slayton is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background in human resources management and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as an HR Generalist at Urban Affairs Coalition since October 2016, Michele conducts new hire orientations and manages various employee benefits claims. As an Assistant Site Manager for Campaign for Working Families, Michele supports and trains volunteers, facilitating the preparation of over 2,000 tax returns annually. Previous roles include HR Director at SELF, Inc., where Michele oversaw applicant screenings and new hire processes, HR Manager at Reliant Coventry Nursing Home responsible for recruitment and onboarding, and Managing Director of Human Resources at TWC, where Michele founded the HR department and established essential organizational systems. Michele holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising from Philadelphia University.
