Amy Greenwood has a diverse work experience. Amy started working at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in 2002 as an Operations Intern. In 2003, they joined Goddard Riverside Community Center and held various roles, including Training and Technology Program Associate and Director of Operations. In 2009, they worked as a Webmaster for New York City Metro RID. From 2015, they began working at The Urban Assembly, Inc., where they held positions such as Research & Evaluation Data Manager, Deputy Director of Research and Evaluation, and currently serves as Director of Program Operations & Data.

Amy Greenwood completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Wesleyan University from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Certificate in ASL-English Interpreting at LaGuardia Community College from 2006 to 2008.

The Urban Assembly (UA) believes that a first class public education is a basic human right and that demography should not determine a young person’s destiny. In partnership with the NYC Department of Education and hundreds of public, private and nonprofit partners, the UA currently serves over 9,000 students in small, subject-themed public middle and high schools across New York City, including seven Career and Technical (CTE) schools and three all-girls schools.
