Urban Balance
Adina Johnson, LCPC, is an experienced psychotherapist currently working at Urban Balance since March 2017, where services provided include individualized behavioral and mental health therapy utilizing techniques such as acceptance and commitment therapy and solution-focused therapy. Previous experience includes roles as a Behavioral Health Counselor at Insight Behavioral Health Centers and as a Graduate Therapist at Replogle Center for Counseling & Well-Being, focusing on psychoeducational group facilitation and individual therapy for diverse populations with varying mental health challenges. Adina also served as the Head Cheerleading Coach at Loyola University Chicago, promoting teamwork and self-esteem among college students. Educational credentials include an Education Specialist (Ed.S) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
