Urban Balance
Heloisa G. R. Roach, MA, LCPC, NCC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at National Louis University since January 2020 and as a Psychotherapist at Urban Balance since July 2014. Heloisa's background includes roles such as a Clinical Psychology Intern and a Graduate Student Board Member for the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association. Prior to mental health work, Heloisa was self-employed as a Motion Designer/Animator from June 2007 to June 2015 and held positions as a Marketing Intern at Free Arts N.Y.C. and a Library Assistant and Admissions Office Assistant at Argosy University. Heloisa holds a Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, along with degrees in Design and Technology and Time-Based Media Studies from Parsons School of Design and Columbus College of Art & Design, respectively.

Urban Balance is a counseling group practice with over 100 therapists working from 16 locations throughout Chicagoland, St. Louis, Denver, Dallas, Sugar Land and Louisville. UB provides therapy and counseling for individuals, couples, families and groups dealing with issues related to mental health, addiction, relationships, career and wellness. UB makes therapy accessible and affordable by accepting most insurance and having an internal billing department. UB also offers new clients a complimentary 20 minute consultation to see if our services are a fit for your needs. UB's philosophy is that seeking therapy is healthy and proactive and something we can all benefit from at different points in our lives.
