Leni Schwendinger

Leni Schwendinger is a highly accomplished Creative Director and Urban Lighting Designer with extensive experience in the intersection of art, urban design, and nighttime environments. As the founder of Leni Schwendinger Light Projects since January 2020, Leni has focused on enhancing public spaces through innovative lighting solutions. In addition, Leni serves as Creative Director for the International Nighttime Design Initiative, promoting holistic public space design after-dark, and holds a Visiting Research Fellow position at The London School of Economics. Leni's previous roles include Creative Director at NightSeeing™, where the aim was to transform urban nightscapes, and Associate Principal at Arup, contributing to international projects with a focus on lighting and urban design. Leni's educational background includes executive training from NYU Stern School of Business and a certificate from the London Film School.
