Melisa T.

Melisa T. is an experienced professional in academia and design, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Farmingdale State College since July 2024. Melisa holds the position of Creative Director and Graphic Designer at Neighbors Studio, starting in June 2019, and is a Fellow at the Urban Design Forum since July 2022. Previous roles include Lecturer at Rutgers University and Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Senior Portfolio course. Melisa has contributed as a Jury Member for Public Access Design at the Center for Urban Pedagogy and as a Public Access Design Fellow. Earlier experience includes graphic design roles at Irving Farm New York, Creative Circle, and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Educational qualifications include a Masters in Design from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Queens College, among other degrees in Urban Economics and Marketing Strategy and Design.
