Urban Design Forum
Silvia Vercher is an accomplished architect, urban planner, and urban designer with extensive experience in international and complex projects. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Perkins Eastman, Silvia focuses on master planning for vulnerable coastal cities facing climate change and urban sprawl. Concurrently, Silvia holds roles as a Global Exchange Fellow at the Urban Design Forum, a Fellow of the AIA New York Civic Leadership Program, a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the New York Institute of Technology. Silvia is also actively involved as a research affiliate at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, and as a research fellow with the Consortium for Sustainable Urbanization. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Urban Design from Columbia University and various degrees from institutions in Australia, Spain, and Denmark. Silvia's contributions to architecture and urban design emphasize sustainability, innovative practices, and the promotion of equity.
