Gabriel Cowles

Gabriel Cowles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy, finance, and energy efficiency. Currently serving as SVP of Strategy and Finance at Urban Electric Power since January 2018, Gabriel has held several roles within the organization that emphasize financial operations and business development. Prior to this, Gabriel worked at the New York Power Authority managing the Build Smart NY initiative aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in state facilities. Experience also includes a tenure at Willdan Energy Solutions, where Gabriel oversaw significant energy efficiency projects and programs, achieving substantial energy savings. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
