Tom Nodar

VP & Practice Leader for Transit-Construction Management at Urban Engineers

A Vice President and Practice Leader, Thomas P. Nodar, manages the construction management service of our Rail & Transit Business Line. Within this role, he strategizes pursuits and teaming with all offices nationwide, while also taking a hands-on approach and serving as a Project Manager.

Tom has more than 40 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry and is highly skilled in all aspects of project development and delivery, including permitting, design, costing, purchasing, scheduling, construction management, and claims. Throughout his career, he has amassed diversified project experience in both the public and private sectors including power plants, transit facilities, and high-rise construction. He also served as former Chief, Construction & Project Management for NJ TRANSIT.

Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Tom earned his master’s in construction management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York and his bachelor’s in civil engineering from the City College of New York. Tom is a member of Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and served as a past President of the Metro NY/NJ Chapter.
